Bradley: thanks for the comment. Hopefully there is protection against such abuse. Askimet did a terrific job. You should take a look at it. It is very impresssive. Trackback are really a nice feature that helps to maintain the semantic sphere.

Early in the design of my blog, I screwed up the trackback functionality and never got around to fixing it. Given the abuse that is possible and the fact that I get at least 1000 comments spams a day, I figure I’m better off without it.
