The ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) have release a fact sheet about the Distributed Denial Of Service (DDOS) against root DNS server that occur on febuary. This factsheet provide timeline information about the attack, as well as impact analysis. It is not highly technical though. Note that this is the first factsheet released by the ICANN.
There goal of theses factsheet according to the ICANN is to “help explain various elements of ICANN’s mission as well as wider, technical aspects of the Internet“. A valuable initiative as attack are often misunderstood by press and public. Hope this will help to have better articles
